14 Feb Restcomm USSD Gateway 7.1.1 Supports High Availability and Graceful Shutdown!

Telestax is pleased to announce the release of  Restcomm USSD Gateway 7.1.1!

Restcomm USSD Gateway 7.1.1 GA release is for Restcomm customers.

A community release for for USSD is planned for later in the current quarter.

This new release supports Graceful Shutdown and Horizontal Scalability through SS7 nodes clustering with the recently released Restcomm Load Balancer 12.0 configured as a Front End Processor (FEP). Support for WildFly 10 server improves the stability of the server. However, Telestax provides now both JBOSS 5 and WildFly 10 versions.

Other updates :

• Optimizing of timeouts and fixing bugs in HTTP RA part– this makes the USSD server more reliable
• Adding of HTTP Simulator tool into release– this enables customers to test the HTTP interface of the server
• Adding DIALOG_DURATION and USSD_STRING CDR parameters– this improves the granularity and verbosity of CDR logging
